electrical confusion on 08 bus
We don't have power in storage. When we picked it up after 5 weeks, the house batteries were dead, but the rig started up fine. It has a batterykeeper... Soo... does that keep the chassie battery cha...

KampingKris, I would think a '08 Tiffin Allegro Bus would have an auto generator start. Is your coach stored inside or outside?
I forgot to plug-in our coach while in the storage garage once. The genny came on to keep the house batteries topped off. Of course running a genny in a fairly closed area was not a good idea. Our garages are open at the top between each other so there was some air movement. There are probably 40-50 garages in my section that are open to each other.
So in essence, our batteries will never die as long as the inverter is set to 'on' for the auto-start feature for the genny to start.
Our coach is all electric so I like to keep our residential fridge on all the time.
