I would assume that's why there is a Battery Control Center
A Battery Control Center, does NOT mean it has multiple functions like charging the Chassis batteries when connected to Shore Power. It is just the term for the appliance. Some do charge the Chassis batteries, but older Motorhomes like yours it was not a common feature. A LOT of current Motorhomes have a Echo or a plug in 120 trickle charger for the chassis batteries. One of the problems(annoyance really), was built in BCC systems that do engage the relay to charge the chassis batteries would constantly open and close the solenoid and make a loud thump when doing it. Kind of annoying in the middle of the night. Doug
