But just as in your house for all but a few large appliances, everything in your coach uses ONLY ONE HOT. So, one hot, one neutral and one ground= 120 VAC. Same as every outlet in your house.
Some things run on one hot leg (L1), some on the other hot leg (L2), just as in your house.
