Well Gang,
My statement that there should no 220V entering a coach was derived from reading so many threads on here and other RV forums, where "Experts" with greater electrical knowledge than myself, have repeatedly stated that the 50A shore power plug, delivers TWO 120V legs of power. I don't have any electrical background. I'm barely skilled at doing minimal 120VAC type work. Real electricians know about measuring different ways than I do or, will ever.
When I measure AC voltage, it's NEVER across two hots. It's always between a HOT and a neutral or ground. I've never been taught to measure two hots. So, if in fact, that in reality, THERE IS 220VAC entering RVs, via the 50A shore power plug, then I most certainly stand corrected. My apologies for "misleading" statements.
