I have a 2009 Sportcoach Legend.
It has a ME2012 inverter with 2-15 amp output circuit breakers with 30 amp fuse.
It has 2 GFI outlets 1-kitchen which controls one side outlets, 2-bathroom that controls other side.
At pedestal, 50amp shore power has the expensive progressive surge protector, checks out fine no issues at pedestal.
Issue:
Bathroom GFI tripped along with 1 of the inverter's 15amp breakers.
I Pushed inverter breaker that allowed the bathroom GFI to reset.
Within 12 hours it happened again.
This time the inverter breaker seems ok but GFI won't reset.
Checked the main breaker box under bed and all breakers test fine and are working properly.
Checked all lines coming into the GFI and have no power zero on all lines.
Checked all dead outlets and no power zero coming into all dead outlets.
Checked under bed to trace bathroom GFI breaker line to determine where it goes from main breaker and appears to go to inverter and out into the coach. In rear bedroom there appears to be two outlets that are directly connected not on daisy chain, one works but the other does not.
Not sure where the break in power could be occurring.
Appears the inverter is working properly but did a reset just in case, still no power to bathroom GFI or side of RV. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks Kelasn
Have electric to main box and have electric out of all breakers.
Do you have electric out of Invertor?
Do you have electric to the GFI?
Is the GFI good? if you have electric to it it will either reset or is bad...........from what you are describing the GFI is bad.
This is just a Best Guess as you are the one doing the testing, But as what you have said involves the Inverter or the GFI the issue must be in one or the other.
Test and get back to us - let us know either way.
Best of Luck,
