What do you mean? I just replaced the 30/20 circuit breaker - not sure what you mean by an adapter?? And the 30A male plug?
I know it's a 20A circuit, but I'm not sure what else is running on the circuit at the same time. But, like I mentioned earlier, we've done this for years, always being careful about loads, frequently running the fan on low etc...
