White Oak shores is still $75/day. Might as well pay the extra $20 and be on the beach.
93 you are right, most are either mobile home parks with full time residents or gone.
I might sound callous toward NC beaches as far as RV's are concerned, but I am a born and raised North Carolinian. There used to be numerous true "RV Campgrounds" right on the ocean, up and down Salter Path Rd. However, over the years, condos and million dollar homes have taken their place. Those few left that are off the ocean are expensive and u still have to drive to get to the beach. It's unfortunate, but there are still a few left way out on the outer banks. I supposed this is because developers are getting kind of scared of building any more million dollar homes out there because with every hurricane we get, it just erodes away the cost line and the highway. But, good luck on getting a reservation out there in the peak of the season. :)
