Our MH has a large window on each side of the rear bedroom. Though the windows were large, they were still the flip-up type escape windows. I didn't like them at all. They also had small opening windows at the bottom for ventilation.
These windows factored into our decision to replace all of the windows AND FRAMES in our MF. Now the bedroom windows are sliders like the front room windows. They would be a lot easier to get out of in an emergency and provide a lot better ventilation.
There's an excellent RV window shop in Vancouver, WA to do this type of work.
