I have both a 24 and a 28 for different reasons, love the trailers, keeps the toys clean and dent free, great temporary garage when needed

I had a Haulmark Edge custom made. The box was 24 feet, the tongue was 5. It had cabinets, etc. The axles were upgraded and it towed like a dream

I have towed a 32ft 1ft extra high 3 axel all over the country with a 38ft DP with nary a problem. I have also towed a 26ft behind a 45ft DP from coast to coast without a problem....They say you never have to much but I wouldn't get more than I needed either. Two suggestions--get the longer 5 or 6ft tongue no matter what and buy a GOOD well built trailer preferably aluminum....Cheap trailers are nothing but trouble.

I agree cheap trailers turn out to be nothing but trouble.

Keep in mind not all States will allow rigs over 65'..California being one.....depending on where you plan to travel, that might be a consideration....I also agree to avoid cheap trailers.......Dennis

WE TOW a 25ft enclosed with a 5ft tounge so it can jack knife and not hit the rv. also use a wench to pull car into trailer much easiet. we also have an added door to the drivers side of the trailer so when we need in or out of the car the door makes it so easy. also instead of a golf cart look up crickrt. they look like a golf cart and are elec carry 4 people or 600 lbs. and are 1/2 the size of a regular cart. they also can be taken down to fit into a suv

We tow a 22' enclosed trailer with a 3' extended tongue. I purposely didn't go any longer than that so that I would be legal in all states.
I have been in some tight situations with this 65' combination, and I was glad that it wasn't any longer than that. Have had to go over a couple of curbs to make corners and barely squeezed by a few cars or obstacles when turning also.
With this length of trailer we are still able to take a medium sized vehicle and our 2 seater, 50" wide Polaris RZR.

A stacker trailer would handle the car, motorcycle, and a golf cart!!

I tow a 28" behind my 36' MH. Yes, all I see in camera is trailer. Issues I have. Loaded trailer weighs 8200 lbs. Tonque weight is 1280. On some roads I would experience some porposing so I bought a Trailer Toad which fixed that problem.
As one other OP stated many states have max length laws and some are absurdly short. I looked at a chart once and a couple states were 55'. Personally I don't worry about it. I know a lot of racers who have 35'+ MHs that tow 24-32' trailers.
The biggest issue to pulling a trailer vs. a 4 down toad is you have to plan ahead. Getting around on two lane roads can be a little difficult at times when you have to turn at intersections.

I tow a 28' V-nose featherlite behind my 39' 6" diesel pusher. The trailer is actually 33' from tongue to taillight.

I use something called a Air-Safe hitch. It is an airbag suspension for the trailer that slides into the RV reciever. It also allows me to use the WDH bars. with this setup, the RV and trailer really work well together.

Another thing I did was to have a custom hitch built for the motorhome, as the OE was only rated for 500lbs of tongue weight.

Overall the trailer has a 66 GTO, electric golf cart, kids toys and junk in it, and it usually weighs around 9500-9800lbs. It's a 10,400 rated trailer. Tongue weight scaled in at 1300lbs on my last trip.

I have no porpoising issues with the airbag and WDH bars - without it is not the most comfortable ride...
