Whatever brand you get, over size it.

Why? U-haul has no problems with the surge brakes, Why would I be different?
I would go with the electrics myself but if you really don't like them then maybe you could get an electric over hyd. disc system.

I dont think your getting a Jeep in a 16ft trailer. I have a 20x8.5 and my 4 seat polaris is 12 plus ft and doesnt leave as much room as you would think.

I'm really over electric brakes, any thoughts about surge brakes? we rented a U-Haul car hauler once, and it worked great with no worries about dragging wheels at stops. Yes I have a new electronic brake controller and am not happy with it. we are thinking 16' X 8.5' will work best. that gives us a couple feet for stuff.

I won't suggest a brand as there are so many. We have a Haulmark which has been great and there are any number of dealers and service centers. Whatever brand you get, over size it. We find that it not only carries the vehicle but we also carry a tool box, a couple kayaks and a variety of gear. Add a full tank of gas on the vehicle and you have a lot of weight. Pay attention to the width of your jeep vs width of the trailer. Too narrow means climbing out the roof or window! Just a thought.
