And the thing with all the tiny fins on it, behind the fan blades: is it the radiator or the CAC? (I've figured out what that stands for....)
Easier for a fan to draw air from the engine room and force it to the rear than to have it try to draw air from the vacuum area behind the coach driving 60 MPH.
CAC= Charge Air Cooler= Inter-cooler= After-cooler. Different names for the same beast.
And, on the majority of rear radiator chassis, the cooling system is SANDWICHED, with the CAC in front of the radiator.
On a few, such as Monaco products and rear radiator Alpine coaches, the cooling system is STACKED, with CAC above the radiator.
