I am going to fix it tomorrow. It is a long ways away. 160 miles. each way. I will take your suggestions. If the engine starts and runs good after it over heated. and the oil looks clean,, does that mean I have a good chance the engine is okay? I hope I didn't damage it. the AC compressor has no belts on it and this was a belt that connects to the alternator and the water pump according to the seller. I will look at it all tomorrow. the other problem is that the generator won't start. It turns over and all that and the pumps seems to be running,,, but it don't seem to pick up fuel. again according to the seller. I put 35 gallons in it and that should rise the level enough to get fuel to the generator pick up tube wouldn't it?
