entry level, older rv

Hi all,
We've been looking at older Class A motorhomes to purchase, let's say late '90's to 2004. Where can I find information about different manufactors. I see Fleetwood makes Southwind and Bounder. But which of those two is entry level and which is top of the line. I really like National (I know it is out of business). What is entry level for National (SeaBreeze?), what is top of the line (Dolphin?). How do I find that information?

Thanks
Janice
  • Condition is the important thing when looking at used RV's.
  • Since you are looking to buy used. Just look at ALL the ones in your price range!

Entry level or not won't make a difference. You might find a steal of a deal in your price range for a high end MH!

So don't limit your search for entry level ones. That will eliminate you seeing ALL the types of coaches for sale in your price range. Just saying.
  • NADA is your friend. All you need to do is look at the book and see which one has the higher MSRP when new.
  • Are you looking for gas or diesel?

What price range-- that may help us help you?
  • Condition, maintenance records and floorplan are major considerations.
However, 12 years ago I purchased our present rig - my search was for ONLY one of the two manufacturers that made the coach using an all-welded steel framework. Rexhall was my choice then and would be again for that fact alone.
