EternaBond installers in Los Angeles area?

Hi guys, I’ve taken everyone’s advice here and am going to EternaBond my roof. It was just recently re caulked with Dicor but I? want to be doubly sure it’s good. I have a bad back unfortunately so I can’t get on my roof. Does anyone know a good installer for this stuff in the Burbank/Los Angeles area? Thanks!

  • RV Paint Pros in the Chino area. The owner is Frank. Tell him Doc Brown sent you if you contact him.
  • Thank you guys very much? What do you mean nobody will climb on my roof to inspect it? That’s what money is for lol... I am 6’3 with a bad back and I can’t even get up a ladder, I have to have someone do it.. Hey Dave, Mark at Lodgemobile in Burbank is great and has a perfect rep.. he just didn’t seem to want to do the EternaBond, but he did re caulk the whole roof but I didn’t like the fact he only used water to clean first and in some places just wiped it with a dry rag first. Dicor said that’s no problem but I like to be on the safe side and do the best job possible so I was a little disappointed in that but the guy is good... as for Metro RV they are total scam artists and have lost their license a couple times so that’s why they are only rental and storage now.. I avoid them like the plague! I will try to find the number for that guy John though. Thank you very much! By chance do you know a good place to store an RV around here? Metro would be perfect being five minutes away but they want to hold the keys and move it if needed and I just don’t trust them at all after all the horrible scans they have done to people.. thanks again!
  • I understand where you are coming from the the hazard of being on the roof. My 55 year old daughter did her flat roof at home so as stated, it isn't difficult to do. I can say I would not go to Burbank RV. They are really a storage and repair business now and not really detailed workers.

Benchmark was and maybe still is a chop shop. I spent hundreds on a repair only to find out they overlooked the problem and had they followed normal trouble shooting procedures found out that it a butchered job at the factory when building our Bounder.

I wish I could be more help but I live close to you and cannot find anyone to do repairs on the house it's self. Appliances but not the house structure. There is a guy who works out in Simi Valley and is a mobile repairman and he is capable but I don't have his number any more. I can call and get it but it is a few days off. Larry at Coast RV Supplies and repairs in thousand Oaks also has his number. His name is John. You can try Danny at Burbank RV, he is a service adviser and very sharp, he might help if he knows you can't bring it in there.

Good luck and if you need anymore help PM me and we can talk. Dave
  • it is not rocket science.there are some good you tubes on doing it.
just remember nobody is going to climb on your roof to inspect it.
i am handicapped and did my 40 footer in a afternoon by myself.
  • Thanks, I thought of that too but with this tape being so hard to remove I really wanted someone who has used it before. The couple techs I called didn’t seem too familiar about it.
  • I can't help you with a reference but, I would find a Mobile RV Tech to do the job.
