Even new rigs need to be inspected when you get home
I purchased a brand new Fleetwood Bounder a month ago. When I got home I did some inspection around the rig. The first thing I noticed is that caulking around windows and door was approximately half done. Shower doors were not caulked sufficiently to prevent water leakage. Clearance lights were not caulked sufficiently to prevent leakage inside. Before others start talking about poor workmanship and how their particular company gave them a perfect rig, three of the four rigs I have purchased, I purchased new from different manufacturers. Each had similar issues when I drove them off the lot. Water leakage will destroy a motorhome. Everyone check to make sure your rig is caulked and sealed appropriately. Don't forget countertops too.
