What do you do to clean the terminal?
I recommend lots of water followed by a spray on cleaner from the autoparts store. Then use a spray on protectant.
Since it is one battery I doubt it is the charging system or the usage. Probably the terminal has broken the seal as it comes up through the case. You may need to just deal with it until you get new batteries. Careful how much torque is applied when tightening the terminals.
Weak battery will also gas more and be prone to corrosion.
