Iam going thru the exact same thing.I just returned from a 5000 mi.trip with exhaust leaks which ate up 4 sets of plug wires......I continued to replace wires because I was not going to pay $1000 to fix my rig on the road ....when I have a fully equipped shop and a place. The manifolds were overheated and blew both gaskets while climbing a 6%/7 mile grade....the AIR system blew the main pump hose caused by a jerk mechanic not replacing the clamp during a recent valve job. The best wires I bought were Ford racing from SUMMIT.
I tried to buy hedders....no luck....except banks...too much money .I bought new manifolds and will install with Mr Gasket Ultraseal gaskets . Replacement Felpro gaskets are no good. I have removed the entire exhaust system and 'am now fabing a dual exhaust system....lota work but fairly simple using a lot of the existing pieces.21/2 dual exhaust with Walker tru fit 21/2 " mufflers.
New manifolds are expensive..i found a set online..for $217.00 from 'auto parts direct to you.--1 800 770 2771...
My Class A is a 96 pace Arrow EFI 460/ OBD 1 no cat....
