Ducts and anthing else you could dream up has already been tried on the 460 and there is no cure except headers period. If you use gaskets they will blow out and the manifolds will warp. If you must use gaskets make sure they are the copper ones at least. No gaskets are required, new or old engine. This has been a problem on the 460 ever since it has been put in motorhomes due to the extreme heat generated by working the engine so hard. If you want a permanet solution then spend the money on stainless headers with a good thick flange, if not then plan on new manifolds and broken bolts once and a while.
