I have now finished my dual exhaust system....sounds V8ish but VERY quiet.....gonna drive it tomorrow.....New 02 sensor...wires too short ,had to open the harness to pull out the loom wire....factory installed the connection between the crossmember and pan....cant possibly get to it...cut the wires..my chassis was built in mexico and I see a lot of Mexican engineering. Built heat shields at the trans pan, carrier bearings. Ive never seen a vehicle produce as much heat as this MH does. Today I cut two 4" holes above my headlights and ducted cool air to my manifolds via 4" ducts....Iam going to place a 14 " sucker fan behind the eng in the floor angle area to help evacuate the heat.......Iam not done thinking about this heat yet.....my floors get so hot you cant put your feet on them.....NOW iam wondering about my tires which are right there.......Its not that it produces so much heat but it cannot get rid of it.....My Allegro 454never did this...
Did your stock exhaust give you that much heat in your floors?
