exhaust system

My 2005 bounder is in need of a exhaust system. I don't want to go with a Banks system. Anyone out there had one replaced and what did it cost?
  • Take it to an exhaust shop and let them build a decent quiet system for you.
  • check out Flowmaster, I had a 1996 Rexhall Ford chassy that I used Flowmaster pipes and mufler on. I was happy with the fit and it was self installed in my driveway. Call them to see if they have what you need.
  • you would be well advised to go with the banks system, you cant beat the quality, plus you eliminate the cast iron manifolds with the headers. Unless you getting rid of that coach
  • When I had my Class C with the Ford E350 chassis and the 460 Ford, I just went to a truck muffler shop and had them in stall a free flowing 5 ton truck muffler. It worked great and was very quiet, especially when idling in a campground.
  • Doug Thorley or Gibson headers, Flowmaster, Magnaflow or Dynomax muffler and use a 3.5" exhaust and tail pipe.

    Good luck

What chassis do you have? Ford,WH,or a DP? Are you looking for performance or just to fix leaking pipes of muffler?
  • Unless the Banks System is stainless, it may not last very long if you are in an area that uses salt on the roads. I had a Banks tailpipe on a ford "cube", I think it lasted 2 YEARS.
