This is what we have do if we leave the dog in the RV and if it below 80 we crack the windows and turn the fantastic fan on. If above 80 or if in doubt we run the AC. If we are in the parking lot of some site we are visiting and we need the AC we park at the far end of the lot and run the generator. Yes the generator or the power could go out but it could do that at the house also. We limit the time we leave him in the RV by himself to 4 hours MAX. Many RV parks have dog walking services or know someone in the park that will do that service.
For example next year we are going to go to Glacier National Park the KOA on the West side does not have that service they tell you where you can board your dog while the KOA in Saint Mary has a dog walking service so we are staying at the St Mary's KOA.
