One of the biggest advantages in having a Class C (or B) is being able to take it just about everywhere, not 100% everywhere, but just about. Traveling with dogs means being able to take them with you. Going to some event for a few short hours, in town shopping, out to dinner with friends, etc., etc. they are close by. Close enough to check up on them if it's for an extended period of time, or just to feel safe if it's a shorter period of time. We've had our dogs at all-day field trials, hunt tests, dog shows and so forth, where we are very comfortable knowing they are safe, no matter the weather. As far as licensed kennels, we want our dogs with us. With all this being said, it just comes down to personal preference and doing and enjoying what works best for each individual. Just like choosing a particular motorhome. Enjoy you trip.
