Good morning and welcome from a neighbor outside of Prattville. I went thru the same process you're going thru. I was going to rent to make one last trip up to New England. After seeing what the cost and restrictions would be, I searched a few months and found exactly what I wanted about 100 miles from home thru Craigs List. I saw a lot of 'junk" and was going to give up on looking when the DW showed me this one. We bought it right then. Since then we've made our 'Big Trip' to Rushmore, Yellowstone, into Montana then down to SLC, finally to The balloon fiesta in ALB. It ran flawlessly! 2-300 miles per day. The initial cost of rental isn't bad,, but it's the extras that add up. Good luck in whatever you decide.
