FWIW, I just sold my old 5'ver down in the RGV area this winter. I was amazed at how many of the people who looked at mine made statements about the junk that was out there from the Houston Flood (400 miles away.) I guess what they were seeing was the parting out of flooded rigs so as to make a good one for sale.
Might want to keep that in the back of your mind when you're inspecting stuff to buy.
