We have the service contract through compass gardian. Here's why. I'm pretty handy and not intimidated by most things mechanical. Ie removed my 6.5 gennie in my driveway by myself. That was before, now we are full-time and though I have tools they are limited. We don't have the opportunity to shop around for repairs or rely on local referals from people we know. Also many parks do not allow any repairs in the park. I could have fixed any of our problems had I still had a home and my shop. When your nevercold goes tu and you don't know where to go, and do not have the resources to fix it yourself you screwed, you can't just go home and deal with it later. We still have 2 years left and so far we are even.

None of the above were bank breakers but like I said when your full-time your repair choices are limited
They pay the provider via credit card while your there and you pick up the deductible. Never had problem, never had any service either mobile or store front refuse our contract.
If I still had the house and was part time I wouldn't have it.
But full time it's worth the peace of mind.
