After much research we purchased an extended warranty from Wholesale Warranties and have been very pleased with the results. As a previous person noted they are not cheap, but so far we are way ahead on an annual basis. Highly recommend an "exclusionary" policy where they list the things they don't cover ie, paint, tires, etc and everything else is covered. Also with this type of policy they also cover diagnostics. Not all policies do. Also request a "Consequential Loss". This is where if one item fails and causes damage to another item, it will cover that also. You have to request this, it is not part of regular policy, it's another $100, well worth it. Wholesale Warranties customer service has been excellent. Phone calls answered or returned promptly, approval of claims has been fast and easy. I have had a couple mechanics tell me they did not deal with warranty companies, until I told them Wholesale Warranties then they said ok, thats a good company.
With a 7-10 year old coach a lot of the appliances can go at any time. It doesn't take long to pay for the warranty, plus you still have coverage if anything major like engine or transmission problems come along.
