You may want to try Cornerstone. They are based in Hickory, NC and I believe when we recently purchased a coach-only (no chassis stuff) EW from them, they had a variety of options including chassis only.
My thinking was based on the feeling that the coach stuff (slides, genset, electronics, appliances, etc.) were more likely to fail than a properly maintained DP drive train. In fact, I have a service appointment to address a failing inverter and, if it has to be replaced, the replacement cost and labor will likely approach 2/3 of what I paid for the warranty (assuming they cover it).
