Statistically, 78% of warranties are never used ,that's all warranties not just RV's. The deductibles and what's not covered should be read very carefully.
Most important for me as another poster stated, availability of having the work done. IF you have an issue on the road who can repair it, who honors your warranty etc. Take that money and put it in the bank. Mobile RV repair is one route. Engines and running gear in todays coaches easily will go 200K miles. If it gives you peace of mind go for it, if you want to save money, ignore it. Most of the time it's piddly stuff that goes wrong, your warranty will expire before your appliances will. Sure Joe saved thousands because his issue was covered, but Moe never used his and is out thousands.
