I've followed these type of threads for over seven years and agree with some and disagree with others. When we purchased our 07 I bought a 7 year plan with 100.oo deductible.
I don't know if I just got lucky with the company I choose but for the price 3500.00 I have had nothing but good luck with them. My coverage is up in May of this coming year and I plan to renew it no questions asked. To date they have paid out over 14000.00 with never a hassle.
They have sent adjusters down to look a certain items but I had no problem with that. For instance they agreed to replace my satellite dish (old one no longer available)for almost twice the value of my old one.
In my book if you get the right company you can't go wrong but remember to negotiate the price with them.
