Exterior window covers

On this 2005 Fleetwood Expedition 34H I observe snaps at the corners of all the windows.

Was/is there a set of outside window covers made?
  • I assume you had a picture that didn't post. Use this, it's very easy to post pictures with. Just drop the picture into it.
    Magne Shade clicky
    Use to post pictures.

Magne Shade makes shades for the outside. We have them on the windshield and the two front side windows. They keep the heat on the outside and you can see out of them from the inside.

They're held on with magnets. Supper strong magnets go on the inside of the windshield and then there are magnets in the shade itself.

  • Lots of full timers use them. You can get custom ones made at places like a boat cover shop. I doubt those are off the shelf
  • We have them for our coach. We can see out, but those outside can not see in. The covers also stop much of the sun heating.
I carry an aluminum step ladder so I can install the covers without climbing on the roof.

We had ours done by this company, they will come to your site and custom make a set of front covers for about $575.

    RV Sunshade Company

We had them make custom sunshades for our RV when we were in Tucson in January. Great people, great job.

The first step was to install (screw in) the snaps, so I imagine they could make up a set that will use the snaps that are there.

You might also check your basement, maybe the shades are in there?
