Extra house battery in Pleasure Way Excel

I recently purchased my second Pleasure Way, a used 2013 Excel. I knew of someone who had installed an extra house battery in his 2003 Excel, but I can't locate him now to ask him how he did it. All I know is that it would not have fit in the existing slide-out battery compartment, and that he would have had to put it somewhere else, maybe in the back, under the sofa? Does anyone have experience with installing a second battery?

    I copied this from a prior post by Lynne Z. on this topic:

    "I had the dealer install a second auxiliary house battery on my 2003 Excel when it was purchased. It's located under the cab between the fresh water tank and spare tire...exactly in the center (side-to-side)...it's within a plastic case and suspended within a cage-like container."
