Without a diagram, I'm not sure where it's supposed to hookup since I was thinking it went into the fill valve.....I'll look at my RV tomorrow to see if it makes sense. Yeah, wasn't really thinking I'd empty my main propane tank, however, it's an hour ferry ride over to the island at $350 and just didn't want to run into some bad weather and have to worry about needing more fuel. I'm even carrying an extra 20-gallons of water just in case my 40 gals. runs low.
OK.....just went out and looked. Take a wrench and unscrewed regulator hose going into main tank valve and basically bypass the main tank using the new hose I ordered and connect to the 4 gallon external tank, correct?
