In a pass life did parking access control using transponders, both active and passive, hand held cards and such. If you are having problems the first thing to check is how transparent your windshield is for radio frequencies. Some glass manufactures included metals in the glass as a tinting agent. About the only way I ever found to field check was to look at the glass in sun light with polarized sun glasses. Pinkish tint glass was always a nogo. Other way was to research the manufacture of the glass and contact them. Had problems with Mercedes, GM mini vans and a few other GM products. Only option was a license plate transponder. Never ran into a Bentley but read that you can't use a cell phone inside the vehicles because of the window tint and metal body blocks all signals.
With class C rigs the overhead bunk is going to be a problem blocking the line of sight and you'll need a license plate tag.
