We just went across the William Preston Lane, Jr., Memorial (Chesapeake Bay) Bridge at Annapolis. If I used the DE EZPass my toll would have been $36 for Cat 5 (5 axles on the ground). I disconnected the toad and Bus and paid $12 for the rig and $6 for the toad with their individual EZPasses. We disconnected about 100 yards before the toll booth and reconnected 30 yards beyond it. Total additional time about 7 minutes. Saved $18. A bit over $154 an hour. I'll do it every time.
Who says these SOB's are not out to screw the RVers and truckers??? EXPass will save you a few bucks, but there are ways to get around these unbelievable tolls.
