yep, I bought one that had a strip of fresnel lens, or something across the middle of it so that you had to be looking straight at it to read it, supposedly an elevated traffic camera wouldn't get the number. I also got a spray can of paint which was a reflective material to spray on plate which supposedly kept units that worked with a flash gun to not be able to see the numbers.
then I just started driving legally. :s
