Factory cable valves and replacements
The factory cable valves on my 2001 Winnebago Brave 33V seem to always be leaking or breaking. Is it considered wise to have them replaced with the slide style of valves or am I doing something wrong ...

I just snapped a cable last week and the things never seem to reliably close. I have to assume the slide type is far more reliable.
