We bought our Phoenix Cruiser 18 months ago. Incredibly, we were going to the factory to spec out a 2350 and found one for sale that was 10 months old and four miles from our house equipped almost exactly like we were going to have built. We made a fair deal in about fifteen minutes, subject to further inspection!
In the now 18 months of owning the PC we have been more than pleased, we have been delighted. The build quality is really good and when I wanted to add solar, I called the factory with a technical question for this DIYer. Within two hours, the president of Phoenix Cruiser called me back and answered my questions completely. Now, that kind of response is pretty unusual in any business in this day and time.
Since our purchase, I follow the Phoenix Cruiser forum on their sight and all I hear is praise for this company and its products. The fact that you can sit down with these guys and tweak your design is marvelous. We also looked at Lazy Daze, but as I recall they do not offer a slide and that was a killer for us. We often boondock for ten days or so at a time and expanding a small coach with a slide is really a changer in comfort IMO. The integrity and value of a Lazy Daze is unquestionable. Last week, I looked at one owned by a friend of a friend and the quality is very, very impressive.
In any event, we could not be more plased with our Phoenix Cruiser. Coming from a Chevy based RV to the PC, the Ford is a little different but that V10 engine is a fine motor and Ford, last time I looked, has made more than a few trucks over the years.
