Fall came early to Maine
60s and 40s the past week or two. 30s two nights. MH seems to be leaning a little south. Two more weeks and I'll be southbound.

- It seems like fall is right on track around here...some days hot during the day, some days moderate, some cool but quite cold at night, awefully close to our 1st frost but...anytime after mid-September we are due for that...happy fall folks! Enjoy!
- No need to hustle back. The rainy season has only begun to wind down. It's still muggy and the temps in N. FL have been running close to 90° daytime... 70° at night. Should be comfortable by trick-or-treat sans a 'cane.
- Same here in Illinois. It will warm up a bit next week but there's no mistaking the geese passing thru. Winter is coming.
- My home state does tend to cool off very quickly in the fall. You should be up in Maine around mid January... -20 below up in Oxbow Maine...
