Fall Foliage in South Carolina

We are in Charleston in our 36ft class A interested in seeing some fall colors, Yankees missing the leaves! Any suggestions within a 3 hour drive of Charleston, also RV park..lowcountry is heaven but no colors.
  • I think your best bet is to get on I-26 and head toward the NC high country around/near Asheville, NC. You may start to see some decent fall color before you get there. Asheville is more like a 4 to 4 1/2 drive but you may not need to go that far. Plenty of RV parks in that area.

We live in Virginia near the Blue Ridge Parkway and we don't have a lot of color yet since it has not been cool enough. Still waiting on that first frost.
