- Sultan1966ExplorerFull timer so my coverage may different if you aren’t but have motorhome, truck and golf cart thru Progressive via FMCA in TN. Looked at becoming Florida residents and coverage would have tripled..stayed Tennessee residents and go back to vote, dr visits annually, get mail there, license renewal etc.
- Monkeyman_and_LExplorerMy Nationwide agent said he'd be happy to have my business again. If Farmers begins to up our rates and we're looking to rebid.
We were near perfect clients too. Only one homeowners claim in 25 years (inexpensive one at that, and they got restitution), and only 1 or 2 minor at fault accidents. Again over 25 years with the same company.
We'll be more vigilant. We have a 12 year old, and know that once he's driving the costs will go up. But we expect that. The rates we were paying are about what we expect to pay once he starts...not now that we're both skirting 50 years old. - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIKeep in mind that you can't compare costs between two different people. Insurance is an individual thing and takes into account your age, driving history, credit score, where you live (even different counties in a state)among other things.
