For my painted aluminum roof motorhome, and my faded gelcoat boat, I use Jomax house cleaner. I mix the Jomax, bleach, and water as described on the Jomax bottle. I spray the mix on with a garden sprayer, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then either use a brush or pressure washer. It has not harmed the gelcoat sides or the painted with clear coat storage bay doors.
