Hi there,
I don't know what your layout is but...we have a travel trailer (20 foot) and a 24 foot class c. So that we both have good sleeping space (king bed at home)...we both have separate beds. This past year I used the fold down couch in trailer for my "bed"...it stuffed towels in the "ditch" and put an egg foam on top (old one that we had). Well, still no good and actually pretty wanting. SOooo, mr. fix it/hubby heard my plea. He took out the couch and installed a twin bed that lifts up to still access the nice storage area underneath. Add memory foam on the NEW mattress and wala...a good nights sleep. Here is a link for that

Our bed is across the front of our trailer.
I hear you on moving from trailer to class C. We were prepared for noises within the cabin and bought some of that cabinet liner stuff that we stuck between plates. I ran around and identified the worst noises while hubby drove so we could muffle them. Mostly, it wasn't bad. However, it was REALLY bad when we were driving from Labrador City to Manic 5 up in the big lands of Labrador/Quebec. There was all sorts of horrible noises going on in the back. I ran around and tried my best to make the noise stop but it really was a "deal with the worst of it kind of thing".
Enjoy it!
