We use the ready brake elite and bar... It uses a "surge brake" system for our Jeep liberty. The bar can take 8000 lbs. The jeep weighs 5700 according to the door sticker.
We've thought about pulling our truck... but it's a duelly and would be really heavy because the DH probably can't resist filled it with stuff like firewood.
