We bought one of those window alarms from Walmart (under $10) and attached it high on the screen door of the TT. They are easy to install, a simple concept BUT noisy! Not much will thwart professional thieves, but the alarms do draw significant attention to an opened door. I've forgotten it's set and scared the heck out of myself opening the door. It won't do much good if there are no homes near the place you store your rig, but if there are other homes around it could sure help. Our neighbors can hear it easily.
The WM alarms are low tech, but high resolution for sure.
