The problem with the ERA and other sprinter conversions (aside from the extra cost for deisel) is that they are narrow and taper towards the roof. The promaster is 6 inches wider and doesn't taper, so there's great headroom in the rear bath. The extra 6 inches provides for width wise sleeping either in the front dinetee (and in european and probably future US conversions, width wise sleeping in the rear bed..) I drove one today, and was really impressed with the ride. I am really close to buying one
