You might want to consider replacing the exhaust manifolds with headers. Much easier while it is out of the vehicle. Besides, most of the bolts will probably break. This way, they are easier to get to if they do break.
Fords are known for cracking manifolds, but you probably know that already.
It's a Chevy, but they do the same thing. Bolts break off and the manifolds leak. I liked this one because it's a crate engine and as a result has no emissions junk on it. The original engine only had an air pump, but the tubes to the manifolds were all rotted. It would have been a lot of hassle to fix.
I figure I'll paint the valve covers and clean the oxidation off of the aluminum intake. It would look a lot better.
