Financing Rates?

I'm about to finance a Class C and was wondering who has the best rates. I used to go thru my bank for all financing, but they stopped doing RV loans last year. Credit score 820 so credit is good. Thoughts?
  • Just like the price, negotiate the interest rate if you must finance. Pit the credit union against dealership/bank rates.
  • We financed ours through State Farm. They have great auto, truck, RV and Boat loans. We figured that since all of our insurance was there, so why not? It's really convenient to have everything in one place.
  • I became member of Alliant credit union due to my membership in Escapees. They offered the best rate for my purchase of a used Class C.
  • Check your local credit unions. Mine has ALWAYS been better than any other dealer or bank by at least a pint or two.
  • I'm going thru the dealer since they had rates competitive with local banks and the credit union.

I did see rates a tiny bit cheaper at Essex (used to run Costco's RV/Boat financing service).
