Generally the fireplace is an electric fake fireplace with a 1500 watt heater inside.. looks nice (So does a free app for Windows 8) and puts out the standard 1500 watts worth of heat..
I have heard of one RV that had a genuine wood burner in it... Most unique. IT was not a factory install however. It was an owner mod.
