Fireplace - functional or just for show?

Got friends who put a firebox insert in their bus conversion. It's an LP ventless one they bought from Home Depot. They delivered it right to the campground site. It heated things up very nicely for Christmas while I was visiting. They say it eats propane at the rate of a 20# tank in 5 or 6 days. I can deal with that. They were not running it at night but were running from 6AM to 11PM. It is so pretty. I want one! I bookmarked it too. BTW, the CO detector doesn't register any CO (and the detector does work). Upside to the LP fireplace is that it heats when there is no power.
