We are planning on heading out that way from SW Michigan leaving on August 2. We plan to take out time and will be stopping for a couple nights at Tiger Run in Breckenridge before heading out to Moab arriving on the 7th of August. In out case we will be taking I-80 out across Iowa and Nebraska before dropping down to Denver and continuing west on I-70. The drive across I-70 from Denver west is a very beautiful drive through the mountains. Coming out of Ohio I-70 can take you all the way to Utah. As far as time, we figure about 2 hours for every 100 miles, that includes stops.
